Picasso
A historical reconstitution of Picasso’s stay in Montmartre Paris along with his friend, the poet Carlos Casagemas. The filmed sequences portray his first days in Paris in 1901 and his acquaintance with Germaine who went on to become his muse, and her friends. A terrifying end for this friendship marred by the suicide of Casagemas who had fallen in love with Germaine and was bitterly disappointed by her indifference. Picasso will later enter his ‘Blue Period’ expressing all his sadness.
